INGREDIENTS
For Pork Roast
- 3-4 pound Pork Loin Roast
- 2 apples, sliced
- 6 slices of bacon (partially cooked)
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons of maple syrup
For Glaze
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1/4 cup of apple juice
- 1 tablespoon grainy mustard
- dash of nutmeg
DIRECTIONS
- Slice pork into 1 inch slices about 3/4 of the way through
- Place roast in large crock pot and place the apple slices into each slit
- Lay the bacon over the top of the roast and sprinkle with brown sugar. Pour maple syrup over top
- Cook in crock pot for 6-8 hours on low (or 3-4 on high)
- Slice and serve with glaze
