This is by FAR the best recipe I have ever found! It is SO easy to make and is great for chicken enchiladas, chicken taco salad, or chicken tacos. Just add your own toppings, (black olives, tomatoes, lettuce, sour cream, whatever you like) and soft shell tacos.
- 4-5 boneless, skinless chicken breast (ours are pretty thick so I used 2 whole breasts and it worked great)
- 1 jar of salsa
- 1 pkg of taco seasoning
- Cut chicken into chunks and place in crock pot.
- Mix salsa and taco seasoning and pour over chicken.
- Cook on low for 4-5 hours. Chicken will fall apart (shred).
This is so easy to do and you will find all kinds of different ways to use it! The picture was when I made chicken enchiladas out of it, but I’ve also made chicken taco salad and it was great too!
