Easy Cheesy Ham and Potato Soup

INGREDIENTS

  • 1 bag of frozen hash browns8e425eddf175a09e074ae119e95fdcbc
  • 1 small chopped onion
  • 2 cups cubed ham
  • 8 slices crumbled cooked bacon
  • 1 quart half and half
  • 1 stick butter
  • 8 oz Cheddar Cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. In pan sauté onions and butter until onions are soft.
  2. Place onions, butter, half and half, ham, bacon, and hash browns in a large pot.  Simmer on low until soft.
  3. Add 8 ounces shredded cheddar cheese and stir until melted.
  4. Serve topped with more cheese, crumbled bacon, and green onion.
